On a daily basis I get an email inquiring how I’m able to run a site full of information that fully supports educators from across the world. While I could give some long, drawn out explanation but usually I just say, “It’s hard.”   Everyday I get up and go and teach for 8.5 hours and after work I spend all of my time working on The Educator’s Room. Many nights I’m up well past Midnight to ensure that everything is “just right” for the following day.Not only do I work hard but ALL of our 38 writers  take donated time out of their schedules to write articles to help support their fellow educators. No one gets paid — this is all done voluntarily. In short, we work hard because all of us BELIEVE in the mission of The Educator’s Room: “To help empower educators to be in the experts in education.”

While we all make things work on a meager salary, we’re simply asking for any of our loyal readers to consider donate to us — just the amount of a cup of coffee. A simple cup of coffee  that ranges in price from a couple of cents to a couple of dollars- whatever is your fancy! With those small donations we will be able to continue running the site and bringing our readers articles about what it’s REALLY like to be an educator!
