writers wantedTip #4 Write Essays: You can count on every school and scholarship requesting some type of written essay. That is a given. I suggest taking a few weeks at the beginning of the school year to have your student draft several common essays frequently required by colleges. In addition, I would also have students to write an essay discussing their strengths and weaknesses and how their weaknesses impact their overall learning.

In my opinion, if your student isn’t comfortable talking about his learning difference, he should make the effort to become comfortable. If your student is to get any assistance in college he has to be able to article his needs himself. Being proactive in this area- in general- is very necessary.
