3.  Update your library! My classroom library consists primarily of fiction books. I have started bringing in the local newspaper as well as subscriptions to children’s magazines. Providing this non-fiction resource for students allows them to have fresh reading materials regularly without adding to your trip to the library to change out books. Check on-line for free subscriptions to classrooms.
