Francesca is absolutely right in her quest to educate the whole teacher. As a former inner-city elementary teacher in a tough school and district I also found the need to approach “things” differently, especially when I had only 12 credits of education courses under my belt. I created THE WRITE AWAY TO SELF-AWARENESS course for educators that would develop contemplative teacher-communicators.
