However, this always leaves me with the same question…”What can we do to further engage our teachers?”

This is how the Whole Teacher movement was born. A movement dedicated to ensuring that each teacher, in each school, in each of our communities deserves to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged.

  1. Francesca is absolutely right in her quest to educate the whole teacher. As a former inner-city elementary teacher in a tough school and district I also found the need to approach “things” differently, especially when I had only 12 credits of education courses under my belt. I created THE WRITE AWAY TO SELF-AWARENESS course for educators that would develop contemplative teacher-communicators.
