  1. Hello Franchesca – I’m really impressed by your site but must say your experience is quite different than mine. I don’t find that teachers are “experts.” Certainly not in teaching kids to succeed with reading and math.

    I’m afraid I don’t like the word “education.” I think we should scrap it and replace it with teaching kids to succeed with reading and math. Much more specific. It amazes me how the words “reading” and “math” have fallen off of the teaching radar.

    Thanks for all you do to teach kids to succeed with reading and math.
