Atlanta, Georgia – The Educator’s Room is proud to announce the recipients of its second cohort of the Top 50 Educators, a prestigious recognition honoring outstanding educators who are redefining teaching, learning, and leadership in schools and communities across the globe.
This recognition celebrates educators who go beyond the classroom to create meaningful, inclusive, and transformative learning experiences for students while positively impacting their schools and broader communities. The Top 50 Educators distinction highlights individuals whose work reflects innovation, equity, advocacy, and a deep commitment to student success.
The 2026 cohort was selected from an unprecedented pool of more than 500 applicants, far exceeding expectations and underscoring the urgent need to uplift educator voices at this moment in education.
“This year was a little different because we anticipated 250 people to apply and instead 500 educators applied,” said Cheryl Adams, Editor of The Educator’s Room. “We spent all of Thanksgiving break finalizing our selection and used the remaining days in December to create a magazine that speaks to what we know—educators from around the globe are doing jaw-dropping things. We must honor them.”
The educators selected for this second cohort represent diverse grade levels, subject areas, geographic regions, and professional pathways. While their approaches and contexts vary, they share a common dedication to academic excellence, student empowerment, and meaningful community engagement. Their influence extends well beyond their classrooms, inspiring colleagues and reshaping how education is experienced and understood.
As part of this recognition, honorees will be featured across The Educator’s Room’s digital platforms, including social media and a dedicated Top 50 Educators Trailblazer Magazine, launching January 1, 2026. Each educator’s story will highlight their contributions, leadership, and lasting impact on students and school communities.
