2. When seeking advice or support, take advantage of the strengths of individual administrators. One of my administrators is particularly good at supporting me with difficult parents. Another member of our administrative team is the strongest at connecting with kids while simultaneously administering punishment. When I need advice, I don’t necessarily approach the first one I see. Think about what you need and who you trust the most for your specific question.
