In 2022, Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6. Teacher Appreciation Day or National Teachers Day is Tuesday, May 3.

Food

Sonic Drive-In is celebrating teachers by offering a free cheeseburger with any purchase, as long as they are enrolled in the SONIC Teachers’ Circle — a free rewards program for educators on the SONIC App. The restaurant chain is also matching up 50% of donations, or up to $1.5 million, to teachers’ requests using the DonorsChoose nonprofit. 

Zaxby's Restaurants: On May 3, Zaxby's is celebrating National Teachers and Nurses Appreciation Week by offering a Buy One, Get One Boneless Wings Meal. The Boneless Wings Meal includes five, boneless wings tossed in one of nine different sauces and is served with Texas Toast, crinkle fries, and Ranch sauce. The BOGO deal can be ordered online, through the app, or in-person at participating locations while supplies last on May 3. See the details on their press release.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Buffalo Wild Wings is offering teachers and school staff a 20% discount through Friday for dine-in orders as well as “in-store pay” pickup orders. Teachers and staff must show a valid school ID.

Laffy/Taffy: Laffy Taffy is looking for 500 of America's funniest teachers. The brand will deliver free "Laff Bites Tropical" candy care packages to the first 100 teachers each day, Monday through Friday, who share their favorite jokes and register at LaffyTaffyTeacher.com.

O'Charley's Restaurant: Through Friday, May 6 O'Charley's Restaurant + Bar is giving teachers a free dessert with the purchase of an entrée and a valid ID or badge. Dine-in only.

Books

Barnes & Noble: On May 3rd, Barnes & Noble Cafés will be offering a free cup of tall freshly-brewed hot or iced coffee or tea when you show your valid teacher’s ID. Valid at participating locations. Plus, teachers who signed up to be B&N Educators will receive 20% off the publisher’s list price on purchases for classroom use and discounts of up to 25% off the publisher’s list price during Educator Appreciation Days.

Office Depot/Office Max: Teachers get 20% off qualifying regular-priced purchases in-store from 5/1/22 to 6/25/22 with teacher ID and the coupon on the Office Depot/Office Max website. There is also a coupon for 20% back in rewards when you present your teacher ID in-store through 6/25/22.
