10. You have the ability to connect to other professionals on so many levels. At so many conferences it’s a secret on how to become a presenter or to find out information about the programs they have for educational leaders. However, at the ASCD there were actual sessions on how to become an Emerging Leader or how to become a presenter. There was also information on how to join both the local and national chapters.
