1. Over the three days there were over 400 sessions on content, teaching, learning, and educational issues! All of the sessions varied from sessions ranging from "The Strategic Teacher: Research-Based Strategies for Meeting the Challenges of the Common Core" to "Powerful Best Reading Practices for Struggling Readers." In addition to the sheer amount-of sessions there were differentiated sessions geared toward classroom teachers, principals and district leadership . I was so glad I wasn't forced to sit in a session that was aimed at managing a school when all I really wanted to know was reading strategies for kids with reading difficulties. In addition, I loved that there were large sessions and smaller more intimate sessions!
